About this place
Exceptional Service and Exquisite Cuisine Combine
On my most recent jaunt to Café Concerto in the effulgent Knightsbridge, a delightful confluence of experiences greeted me—intermittently magical service and tantalising bites amidst the hustle opposite Harrods. Saqi, in particular, was a bon vivant of a waiter, imbued with an amiable demeanor that made settling into this atmospheric corner feel as though I was catching up with an old friend. The decor was opulent enough to snatch your breath away—a medley of glittering chandeliers commanding attention over tables bustling with joyous patrons. As for the cuisine, well, it swung from divine to merely passable—for every mouth-wateringly delectable ricotta ravioli, there was a delayed coffee cooling its heels somewhere right within reach yet equally remote. I raised my glass of rosy lemonade to the apologies for tardy orders and relished the ingenuity of their authentic macaron offerings, balancing understated sweetness with lightness. While the inconsistency between branches seems glaringly apparent, Café Concerto still remains a charming enclave for those willing to risk a culinary adventure alongside camaraderie and good spirits. In Knightsbridge's theater of taste and elegance, they hold their own amidst a crowd declaring mixed reviews, an erratic symphony of above-average pleasures and spirited services that merely require a dash more harmony. — Milo Tastemaker
