About this place
Best Indian Cuisine in London Awaits
As I stepped into this quaint Indian oasis, tucked away in an unassuming part of London, I was met with the gentle hum of a restaurant that knew its own worth. The faint sizzle of spices from the kitchen promised something spectacular and, needless to say, the culinary journey was intriguing. My eyes immediately caught track of the lamb chops – exquisite, they claimed, and rightly so. Tender and marinated like they meant it, each bite was as if I'd been embraced by an aromatic cloud straight from Delhi itself. The tikka masala, too, was a vibrant masterpiece, dancing with flavors that whispered sweet nothings to my palate. But, before the evening could curtain-call on joy alone, there was the theatrical entrance of our bill. It’s intriguing how some esoteric concept of onion, green chili, and cucumbers warranted a royal ransom, presented like ill-gotten verdure tips rather than the complimentary relish expected. One could almost hear the echo of smug laughter from neighboring eateries, where such delights come gratis. Yet, the overwhelming piquancy of this place won me over. Should you find yourself capable of pardoning this misdemeanor, dear reader, then a splendid feast lies ahead. Hence, for the spectacular lamb, itself a worthy adversary for many culinary romances past, I will inevitably return, wallet steeled for surprise extras. — Penelope Savory
