London's Best Lebanese Dining Delight

Nestled amidst the bustling scene near Oxford Street, Aline Lebanese Kitchen serves as a tranquil haven where the essence of Lebanese cuisine wonderfully unfurls. The restaurant, while petite in size, stands tall with its vibrant yet cozy ambiance, transporting diners to the heart of Beirut through an orchestra of rich flavors and hospitable service. From the moment guests step inside, they're enveloped by warmth conveyed not only from the cozy lighting but also from the staff who brigadely embrace each visitor. In this snug dining space, the aroma of za'atar flatbread dances around while the chef whips up an array of mezze that sing with robust, Mediterranean whispers cast by sumac and olive oil.

Among the standout dishes that weave an impeccable tapestry of flavors were the smoky babaganoush and a zesty tabbouleh—a far cry from mundane fare. Marc, one of the proprietors, contributes to the familial atmosphere by connecting personally with patrons, enhancing their dining experience with genuine recommendations—or in our case, steering us towards indulging in a bottle rather than rushing through glasses of G&Ts. It’s little interactions like these that spell the difference between a meal and a memorable outing. Even though there was a slight murmur regarding portion sizes versus price across some menu items, the authenticity of flavors combined with exceptional service fosters a dining affair where coming back is nothing short of a certainty. — Clarissa Cuisinier
