Lodged snugly in a nook near Tower Hill, this classic watering hole walked the delicate tightrope between modernity and heritage with unflinching ease. At first glance, its inviting atmosphere was underscored by the affable buzz of patrons—a cocktail of laughter, clinking glasses, and the legendary strains of a spontaneous choir night, filling every Wednesday with that rare, Irish pub-like exuberance.

My pint of London Pale Ale arrived swift and heady, a brisk prelude to what would be an afternoon indulging in quintessential British fare—with a twist. Classics like fish and chips sat comfortably on the menu, flanked by pub foods tinged with Eastern influences.
