My recent visit here was akin to stepping into a surrealist's dream, where a stuffed giraffe donning a jaunty hat greeted me with peculiar charm. The dizzying array of vibrant decor serves as both conversation starter and visual feast, forming a kaleidoscope backdrop to the restaurant's flavorful offerings. This funkily-decorated eatery values eclecticism over elegance, and its casual and quirky atmosphere plays host to some surprisingly delightful bites.

Among standout dishes, the prawn and chicken toast earned personal accolades with its savory goodness, arriving almost too quick for comfort, at prices that are as refreshing as a Thai iced latte on a blistering summer day. Of course, this affordability comes with caveats; the restaurant sticks resolutely to a cash-only model—a surprise in today’s plastic-fueled world—but certainly not enough to stymie a return trip. While strange tales of unwelcome visitors (of the rodent variety) surface in whispered circles, my experience was without mishap.
