Located in the heart of one of London’s poshest quarters, it serves as a glowing beacon for the bleary-eyed and ravenous with its 24-hour service. Step inside, and you're enveloped in an inviting, almost pub-like atmosphere. The place could have you deceived, making you momentarily forget that you’ve popped into a restaurant rather than the Edwardian drawing room you might have expected given its Chelsea address.

You’ll find the food to be, shall we say, intriguing in varied degrees of delectability. While some diners extolled the Chicken Milanese and cheesecake as though they'd found gourmet enlightenment, others recoiled at the horror of a ghastly club sandwich. Swift-moving staff do their best to keep things buoyant; Chaitali, one especially amiable waitress, seems to win accolades all around. Kishor, too, receives honorable mentions for guestliche kindness of Salzburg proportions. But beware—a side dish of irony is included when they charge more for your mere presence at some ungodly hour without asking if you wish to tiptoe down that extravagant path.
