About this place
Exquisite Dining with Exceptional Welcoming Service
On my recent visit to Ye Olde Greene Manne, nestled comfortably like a forgotten gem in the countryside, I found myself sinking into its warm embrace and enthusiastic charm that so many have raved about. With ample parking, though peppered with potholes reflecting the skies' grumblings post-rainfall, one feels not only welcomed but encouraged to settle in and explore the hearty prospects. The structure itself plays on its adjective - olde, obviously historic, the landscape whispers tales of gathered folk and secret conversations over robust porters and ales. This establishment appears as an amiable relic swatched in timeless brickwork with patrons as much a fixture as its polished taps.It was, of course, the capable team featuring standout servers like Mihaela, Michael, Lauren, and Sheila who transformed a mere meal into a wonderfully orchestrated experience filled with personalized warmth. Their warmth thaws any residual chill left by the occasional drop in dining brilliance when they may be stretched thin or navigating the trodden paths of an overtly crowded line-up. My taste buds rejoiced in the well-executed variety within the menu; particularly memorable was the sumptuous lamb rump with cauliflower cheese that engaged every culinary expectation. Meanwhile, the garden offered a sun-dappled tranquility perfect for relishing fish and chips under clear skies – there, amidst the scampering rays of sunlight, this ye olde worldly sanctuary flickers robustly brightly indeed.
