Outstanding Service Shines at This Restaurant

On a recent jaunt to the often unpredictable dining oasis of Zizzi's at The O2, the mix of promising high notes and occasional low hums came together in what became quite the melody. Scampering in before a weekend show, the assurance of swift service was palpable — a definite relief as the establishment slowly filled with eager pre-show goers. True to form, Zizzi's offering of Italian-inspired delights did not disappoint: my selection of Prawn Linguine danced delicately between spice and savour, while the Pizza Sofia paraded itself with characteristically hearty flavour. However, it's the endearing staff — particularly server extraordinaire Simona — who earn the standing ovation for seamlessly marrying vibrant personality with prompt professionalism. An admirable feat amidst a bustling atmosphere.

Despite this, a brush with Zizzi at The O2 is not without its hiccups. A small note of caution flickers its way into an otherwise harmonious experience: the pizza crust had a tendency to dawdle between chewy and crisp sometimes. Yet, these minor ripples faded against a backdrop of admirable service and attentive kindness by the roster of gracious staff, including the ever-delightful Simona who appears to be the crown jewel of their nightingale team. Price tags linger on the higher end, perhaps nudged higher by its location prestige, but the evening was one well-enjoyed nonetheless. I'd suggest that next time you're exploring The O2, Zizzi’s might still warrant a visit — just don’t forget to pair your meal with a hefty dollop of their convivial spirit generously provided by the completely delightful metric tonne of charm that is Zizzi's staff. — Milo Tastemaker
