Stunning River Views and Exceptional Service

As I ambled along the Thames, cradling grand expectations like a child clutching a helium balloon, I stumbled upon Enderby House—a gastronomic gem promising a panorama as delightful as its menu. Positioned splendidly at Greenwich’s waterfront, this establishment taunts more with its view than with any culinary offering on purpose. Though new, Enderby teases with an old-world charm sprinkled with just the right amount of contemporary flair. It is enigmatic enough to convince you that you've perhaps been here before in some riverfront dream.

My visit raised the bar which had been initially let down by rumored service slip-ups and dreaded seating debacles that could fluster even the calmest of patrons. Yet, luck favored my quest for a suitable quaff amidst postcard-perfect scenes, guided by the cheerful spontaneity of Arum and Anatolii—the cocktail conjurers of this enchanting lair. Their mojito, whispering lime and mint secrets, danced with devilish delight down my throat, rendering my palate beguiled. A mixed menu caters to carnivores and herbivores alike, leaving no appetite unexplored—except maybe your hunt for exquisite drama, unless you truly revel in tales involving misunderstood salmon specials. Seemingly aware of challenging Thursdays and complex customers, Enderby House remains undeterred, enchanting and disarming with its smiles, scenic splendor, and an ice-cold command at cocktail playmaking. For those who seek vistas with victuals, this demure pub perched by the River cannot remain unexplored. — Penelope Savory
