Delight in Lavish Brunches, Cozy Ambiance!

Upon arriving at Lantana Café, nestled in the heart of Fitzrovia, I was swept into a quiet haven of vibrant charm. The airy space pulsated with a warm ethos, an inviting nod to its eclectic clientele who were gently bustling about the cozy café. The ambience offered glimpses of home, where conversations flowed as naturally as the celebrated Aussie caffeine that percolated every discussion - acrid yet delightful. The French toast with poached pears became rather legendary among patrons, and while it wasn't on offer during my visit, other dishes more than compensated for its absence.

Swayed by other patrons’ rhapsodies, I indulged in the corn fritters with a hesitance that proved unfounded. Upon tasting them, their warmth and subtle flavors unfurled like poetry on my palate. It was the BBQ Mushrooms and Nasi Goreng, however, that emerged as heroes; composed remarkably and bursting with an orchestra of flavors. While their spectrum of vegetarian options commendably catered to varying dietary needs, the digital nuances of a compulsory QR payment and auto included service charge might deter some. Nevertheless, amidst the disparity of impressions, the enveloping camaraderie and sincere attentiveness of staff such as Nicole, Samantha, and Lee left an indelible mark, reminding visitors why this culinary corner remains a cherished nook in the city's intricate tapestry. — Nigel Gourmet
