Nestled cozily alongside the river Wandle, M.E.D offers an ideal respite for coffee aficionados and pastry enthusiasts alike. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee accompanied by the delicate layers of an almond croissant gave an enticing start to my visit. The cassava coconut cake is a notable treat as well, exhibiting a subtlety and grace rarely found in cafe fare.
