Amazing Atmosphere, Unmatched Sports Experience
Stepping into Belushi's feels much like entering a sports aficionado’s utopia, appointed with an imposing array of flat screens broadcasting everything from fútbol to Formula 1. The vibrant interior is decorated with colorful icons of champion athletes, setting the continued adrenaline rush throughout my visit. The staff, particularly Billy, proved to be gallantly attentive amidst the exuberant crowd, always delivering service sprinkled with humor. Though moderately pricey, expect a justifiable expenditure between the excellent selection of craft beers and the warm camaraderie that underpins each communal table. The wings, which came highly recommended, rock the perfect symphony of crunch and spice, singing at each bite—indeed deserving every bit of their local acclaim.I sidestep the more contentious topics brought by past visitors, choosing instead to revel in the more genuine moments of hospitality extended by my server, Mahir, whose charm compels you to raise another toast. Yet, one can't ignorantly glide past the palpable undercurrent of discontent some patrons have tolerated; the inconsistency shifts the scale almost dramatically. It is this polarized character that mounts curiosity, generating richer anticipation for your next visit—which staying true to its core identity as a hostel combined with swarming energy, lends to people-watchers and jubilators alike. If you do go, do reserve a booth for uninterrupted sporting ambience, but do so chanced by management's whims. — Nigel Gourmet
