The good old bardic tales speak of secret tunnels used by smugglers; while I didn’t confirm any such escapades, the legend only adds to the allure of an afternoon pint. A word of praise goes out to the pièce de résistance: the London Pride. It's the nectar that leaves you pondering why more may be less when it comes to beer crafting.

Inside, the place swings between vibrant human interactions and the kind of hush you'd expect in a library. Occasionally, there's even a Hungarian folk dance to break the serenity, which feels rather splendidly unexpected – like catching David Attenborough narrating The Jerry Springer Show.
