From the prime vantage of a window stool, I soaked in the tableau vivant of frenzied passersby, well-attended by an exceptional pour of Guinness seemingly drawn from the electrodes of Irish hospitality itself. An inviting aura pervades the pub, amplified by the rustic magnificence of its decor, where Victorian essence meets eclectic whimsy, best illustrated by the charmingly anachronistic dumbwaiter ferrying drinks upstairs.
