The place was brimming with locals, all gathered for their preferred pints from an impressive roster of well-kept ales, showcasing both venerable selections from McMullen's brewery and other tantalizing options. My gaze frequently flitted over to the football screens, buzzing with the night's fervor—a quintessential touch that laced the air with palpable jubilance.

As an avowed devotee of savory pies, I indulged in their celebrated Chicken, Ham Hock, and Leek iteration, wrapped in a buttery, flaky crust.
