This eatery wears its conceptual heart on its sleeve; a cozy retreat from the city's hustle, crafted with an embracing decor to match. I arrived seeking quietude, and found a charming nook that set the scene for a dining experience characterized by its serene atmosphere and attentive service.

The menu mirrors the establishment’s ethos—a reflection of classic British comestibles, underlined with an inventive flair that made the simple pleasures of Staycation cuisine feel remarkably novel. The honey-hued crackle of dark rye paired perfectly with a plump Scottish salmon piqued my interest early.
