With its 80s movie-vintage charm, this quaint eatery offers not just a meal, but an experience. Step inside, and you're greeted by Aida and Levent, the amiable proprietors whose warm demeanor might just make you feel like a long-lost family member. The space is invitingly cozy, blending classic and trendy elements effortlessly—perfect for an impromptu afternoon tea or a spirited evening with friends.

The real delight, however, is on the plates (and glasses) they serve. From fluffy paninis filled to the brim, zestily dressed salads, to Turkish delicacies like cream garlic prawns, each dish captures a delightful spectrum of flavors, making them more than mere sustenance. There's even the raki and espresso martini, hailed as some of the best concoctions in East London—a testament to their flair for mixing things up. Now, while some may raise an eyebrow at the steep £50 check for modest fare, many regulars simply see it as the price of entry into this slice of East London authenticity. And while the occasional fumble with service efficiency or pricing might rile some, the enthusiasm and warmth exuded by the staff and vibrant local crowd ensure it's an oversight you'll forgive only too easily.
