My recent visit had me swept away not just by the bold spices on my palate but more so by the affable yet borderline cheeky service. Adam, our waiter, who has seemingly built quite a fan base, strikes that perfect balance between server and unintentional entertainer, injecting warmth to what could easily be an icy London outing. The welcoming aromas of soy garlic fried chicken alongside addictive dollops of ssamjang mayo set the stage for an appetizing evening.

Sure, there were blips. Sundubu-Jjigae aficionados might find their stew lacking the fiery robustness expected from its Korean heritage. And yes, the bossam quirk—dare we say, annoyingly wet—is an enigma I’m still puzzling over. Yet, these concerns wash away like shrimp accidentally un-deveined once faced with a slice of their divine Basque cheesecake. This is one cozy nook that wears its sense of home-styled elegance proudly, adorned by little hooks for your bags—a touch of love in every detail. As word spreads and queues mount, if anything could match the satisfying crunch on your plate, it's the infectious energy bustling about the small room.
