A notable shoutout to Mohammed, one of the celestial hosts in this heaven-on-earth, his prompt and genuine hospitality was a cherry on top of a fluffy buttercream cupcake. Mohammed is the kind of angel lurking in customer service manuals; swift like espresso shots and engaging like caffeinated conversation.

The allure of exotic desserts danced out from every table—with croffles (croissant-waffles for the uninitiated) taking center stage. Dare I say, Heavenly Desserts hit some dulcet notes, but—to the cognoscenti of desserts—they may still lurk shy of the awe-inspiring crescendo they aim for.
