Particularly commendable was the Thai green curry, perfectly balanced with just the right kick of heat—an homage to authenticity that’s rare in these parts.

Intriguingly, while Mantannah's solid lineup of vegetarian dishes shines, inconsistencies occasionally flicker through the cracks. The aubergine dish I tried was a culinary delight, rich and subtle in equal measure. Still, minor snags appear, such as rice that at times tastes less-than-fresh. Nonetheless, these hitches are redeemed by the apposite attention paid to dietary restrictions, which is both reassuring and considerate.
