As my evening lingered on, it was Jeffrey, the sommelier, whose flair for wine selection heightened the entire experience—a highlight I recommend seeking out.

Our meal unfurled gracefully, spearheaded by a starter of delectable homemade French onion soup enriched beneath a crust of Gruyère—a heartening comfort if ever there was one. The main course offerings shone brightly; the seafood, especially the mussels, were unparalleled in quality and size, dwelling in a savoury broth that sang of the sea.
