Perched with proximity to the Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe, the location embroiders the experience with a scenic panorama that can sparkle even the most casual lunch or dinner outing. The Mediterranean aesthetic ushers diners toward a sublime riverside ambiance defined by inviting hues of blue and white, a perfect salute to the warm Aegean Sea. It’s evident from my visit that the chorus of commendations owed its resonance largely to the impeccable service, thanks particularly to attentive staff like Neha and George, who transformed ordinary moments into a tapestry of hospitality—always with a graceful nod to customers' wishes.

The menu, designed for elaborate sharing yet modestly priced, tutors your palate on the treasures of Greek cuisine. While some mains left room for imagination—a touch less virtuoso than classic, shiny discoveries like the lamb kebabs or Saganaki spark reminders of delicacies enjoyed under Hellenic sun. Remarkably swift service and a playful innovation with tiered serving in afternoon-tea fashion ensured tables were primed for enjoyment without excessive clutter. Notwithstanding some glimpses of hasty plates and mysteriously omitted portions, The Real Greek curated a welcoming revue to untiring taverna charm, framing each morsel in views across London’s beloved skyline.
