Tucked beneath the well-trod streets, this charming basement nook delivered quite the culinary delight before my evening show. An indisputable highlight was our server Jessica, who applied a layer of warmth and competence to the already pleasant atmosphere. As throaty laughs echoed around tables and patrons were ushered along by clinking glasses and comforting scents, the chaotic symphony somehow melded into an experience that felt like home. As someone who frequents these chain establishments for their renowned dependability, Zizzi did not disappoint.

The menu at Zizzi boldy covers many bases from Mediterranean flair to vegan marvels, but somehow, never falters on flavor. The sticky pig pizza left me contemplating ordering another just to take home. Apparently, I'm not the only one enamoured with the blooming choice: dishes such as the rainbow vegan lasagne garnered applause akin to curtain calls, as noted by fellow diners. Yet the expedition below ground opened more treasures; peeking into dietary constraint accommodations was seamless, proving them not merely thorough, but generous hosts as well. Zizzi might be especially attentive due to the pressing theatre crowds bearing down daily, or perhaps they simply know how to treat customers well—either way, it’s a success worth heralding.
